Challenging but Meaningful Life in USA

My Life in America on PhotoPeach

The most dangerous game

The most dangerous game

What is the most dangerous game? I can get the answer from a couple of angles. The answer could be hunting or a human. Maybe it is hunting humans. To my understanding, it is not a simple game but a game where a human being(Zaroff) plays with a living creature (animals, Rainsford and people killed by Zaroff) taking advantage of the fear of his/her/its life’s being taken. It can be the most dangerous game to the human in that he/she might put himself/herself in a deadly situation because the living creature facing absolute death cannot hold any patience but killing the human. The difference between two deaths is that death the human faces indicates just a short-term fear. How can the human, General Zaroff, be that cruel if he is not a born psychopath? Of course, he was born to a civilized family, which might mean he was raised as a civilized person. Then what could have affected the distortion of his life? Too much civilized environment, which can be defined as materialistically fulfilled and bored enough not to care about others’ feelings, might have twisted his civilized characteristics and ended up being an uncivilized character. What an irony! Life is full of ironies.
